After reading Walking Among the Cherry Trees, I was really excited about reading another one of Heather's books. It didn't disappoint me at all and very glad I read it.
Jase is a cop who has a bad history and lost his parents when he was a teenager, he takes the blame and will never forgive himself. He is seeing a girl called Tiffany and you can tell from the start she has strong feelings for him. He just doesn't know how to deal with her or how to let her in.
He goes undercover to try and get space and revenge for his parents death, yet the whole time he can't stop thinking about Tiffany.
After reading this, I will definitely read more of Heather's books.

I haven't read the first two in this series, but it's also counted as a standalone. So I got away with it. But it has left me wondering about the first two. So that's next on my list!
I couldn't put this book down. It was amazing!!! I felt so sad about Tiffany at the beginning but loved reading about how he finally loved her back.
Loved!

Holy rip your heart out. Heather is a new author to me and I want to thank her for the ARC but dang woman! Jase Stevenson is a tortured soul. Although this is the third release in the Witness series I have not read the others but didn’t feel too lost in the story. I was so entrapped with Jase that I didn’t have time to worry about Dev or anyone else.

Detective Jase Stevenson has no one. I don’t want to tell you anything else about how he got there or what happened if you have NOT read the other books. I don’t know if they touch on his life but just in case they don’t and this is your first read in this series then I want you to experience ‘him” yourself without any front knowledge. Don’t read the authors blurb either – trust me – just turn the pages. What I will say is that this man is one incredibly strong and amazing man. He will frustrate you BUT hang in there. Cut the man some slack .. you will find out why.

Tiffany Warner will stand beside Jase even though he can't promise her tomorrow. Sometimes he cant even promise her today but she won't give up. Her heart belongs only to him. She gives him all of her in hopes of cracking into his soul. The more time that passes the more incapable he seems of giving her anything. The last time was the worst .. he didn’t even say goodbye. Maybe its time for her to move forward.

Jase is chasing ghost and demons. What he finds is a more horrific story that he even imagined. Drugs, a betrayal and guilt … What a brilliant and heart shattering story.

I know this review is short but I don’t want to spoil anything. The only thing I can say is I do wish when things came to a head it would have been a little more lengthy. However at the time I was so relieved .. after the book hangover now I want more – exactly what an author wants from us. Great read Heather and again thank you for the ARC. I know there are more good things to come to us from you!

HASH(0x9d334654) out of 5 stars Jace and Tiff are a roller coaster of good reading 25 Jan. 2016
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
I received this book from the author for an honest opinion.
Jace, Jace, Jace…..Tiff, Tiff, Tiff……These two caused me soo much stress in the beginning two books. I was so excited to finally get to read their story.
Jace is a broken guy and just wait until you read his story. Heartbreak, guilt, raw emotion about what happened to his family and why he is the Jace of today. Tiffany is a “fixer”. She sees this guy and has a good me with him but she wants more. She wants to FIX him. She wants more than just a night. Jace just cannot commit. He can’t give her the tomorrows she deserves. When things get real heavy between Jace and Tiff, he runs. He runs right into the bad guys who caused his heart to be destroyed as a young boy.
Now poor Tiff is DEVISTATED to say the least but she has Sam and Dev there to try and help her see that Jace will return and they can make it work. WELLLL that might have been ok except that while undercover Tiff SEES Jace with another …uhm…ok I will call her a “Lady”. Yeah that doesn’t end well!! I loved the dance scene and my eye was alllll over Mason…yup ladies Mason is a hottie!! Remember Mason the bouncer at the Rusty Nail?? HRMMM *Shakes head with remembrance*
The big show down happens with Tiff and Jace…I cannot confirm or deny but there may have been a tear or 500. When Tiff and Jace come to some understanding the undercover story really kicks in and the bag guys get badder. This stresses out Jace and his new, dare I call it, relationship with Tiff.
This story has suspense, hawt times…..come on you know what I mean, and tears. OMG I can’t begin to tell you about the tears…the cemetery……….ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh……Cemetery you ask? Yup CEMETERY!!
However what I am super excited about are the secrets that are revealed at the end of the book along with the lead in to Mason’s story…yup Mason needs a story. After that dance scene I cannot wait to...uhm….get to know him Biblically!!??

HASH(0xa16c6d50) out of 5 stars I love Jase and Tiff's Story. 25 Jan. 2016
By Mel B - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.
The Witness Series is one of my favorites and I have been waiting for Jase’s and Tiff story. I enjoyed Dev and Sam but there was something about Jase.
At a young age Jase tried to help out his older brother only to find himself in over his head. When he realized how deep he is in its too late the damage is done. He lives with the guilt of what happened, vows revenge and knows he can never let anyone get close to him. Jase would never fully let Tiff in and would never be there when she woke up in the morning.
Tiffany only wants Jase to love her like she loves him and promise her tomorrow. Instead he runs deciding revenge is what he needs to do. Does Tiff have enough love for the two of them or will she more on herself to find her tomorrow?
I so enjoyed the banter between Tiff and Jase you can see there is a spark between them but Jase holds back and does not want to admit it. One of my many favorite scenes was when Dev, Sam, Tiff and Mason went to The Stoplight. That didn’t go over well with Jase. I also loved the scenes where Jase would let his guard down around Tiff when they were together. It tugged at my heart when Dev knew Jase was having a bad day and where to find him. There were times my heart ached for what Jase and Tiff were going through and the situations Jase was putting them in.
This is not a cliff hanger like some of Heather’s books have been in the past. It can also be read as a standalone even though it is the third book in the series. I loved this ending and how it sets up the next book in the series. I’m so excited the next one is Mason’s book because he needs a HEA.

HASH(0x9d036f30) out of 5 stars Can he ever love her 26 Jan. 2016

This is the first time reading anything by Heather D'Agostino and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this great story. This is the third book in "The Witness Series " as I'm reading this story I got lost in the pages as it grabs you and pulls you into it's pages from start to finish, I won't be saying to much about this touching story because I don't want to give to much away about it . This story is about Detective Jase Stevenson and Tiffany Warner . as for Jase he really doesn't have anybody ,he's broken because of what happened with his family . Then there's beautiful and caring Tiffany "The Fixer" wants to fix Jase ,but he can't promise her anything ,but poor sweet Tiffany just won't give up on him ,there just no way. This woman's heart only belongs to him ,she will give her everything just to break the wall down around his soul and his heart. But as time passes he seems to more unfit to be able to give her what she wants. Jase is so hurt and wounded with demons and with chasing ghost ,will he ever be able to love ? This author has filled this story with emotions of guilt ,betrayer, Drugs and much more, the suspense will have you sitting on the edge of your seat until the very end and then you will wish for more . I could go on and tell you more about this great story ,but that would spoil it for you . I highly recommend that you read this amazing story, you won't be disappointed.

HASH(0xa0e34b7c) out of 5 stars #HOTTORTUREDSOULALPHAALERT 4 Feb. 2016
By Jennifer Pierson: The Power of Three Readers - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
HOLY MOUTH WATERING ALPHA BATMAN! Promise Me Tomorrow was simply fantastic! Detective Jase Stevenson has experienced more pain than any one person should ever have to endure, and the kicker is that he feels responsible for all of it. After walking in on his parent's brutal murder, he vows to get revenge no matter what. He stays away from promising tomorrow, but he never saw her coming. Tiffany Warner hasn't had a great childhood, and all she wants is to be loved. She and Jase have been friends with benefits for a long time, but even as he keeps her at a distance, her feelings for him grew anyway. Will she convince him to let her in, or will she have to decide if he's too broken to repair?

WOW! This story ripped out my heart. The character development is great, with secondaries that I loved as well. A fast paced, intense, and well written story line flowed smoothly. Heather D'Agostino knows how to write a fantastic, angst filled story that had me on an emotional roller coaster ride. It started out with a bang, and I had a heck of a time ever catching my breath. The chemistry is SMOKIN', leading to SCORCHIN' HOT sexy scene goodness with a tortured soul alpha that finally loses control. Twists and turns kept me on my toes, while keeping me on the edge of my seat cover to cover. I'm a new fan of this author, and I CANNOT WAIT to read more of her writing, so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
