Not a great buy - many typo's and logic errors that can cause confusion to the uninitiated. Seems the author has just learnt some basic concepts and regurgitated them. For example, there is no explanation on how to systematically structure a programme. Recent standards on how to structure PLC code means the author should update this work.

I found this book to be up to date, and concise. I have some basic self taught PLC experience. The book gives an introduction to PLC control starting from the basic 'how' and 'why' to working examples of programs. I would recommend this book for novice to intermediate PLC users or anyone wanting to get a good understanding of PLC's.
