In my set, one of them was a lot firmer than the other but as it happened that was actually a great benefit. Where they are described as "Professional Quality", I'm inclined to believe it despite the low price.
Overall, they are of an acceptable quality, but nothing to write home about - when you consider you're getting two reeds for just under a tenner and some other, hand-made suppliers that we use charge £12/£13 for a SINGLE reed you can see where I'm heading.
They do a job, but if you're looking for a longer-lasting, quality product then expect to pay substantially more - the old adage of "you get what you pay for" holds true, especially with reeds.
Would probably benefit a beginner/mid-range student who's learning to play but not wanting to spend a massive amount on reeds (that can often need replacing every couple of months - depending on playing).
