HASH(0x9204b84c) out of 5 stars Helpful for primary care. 1 April 2010
By M.N. - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
This guide is predominately (and proudly) written by advance practice nurses. I found it very helpful in formulating differential diagnoses for patient write ups. I love the various tables which compare similar but different signs and symptoms of disease processes. It can also serve as a companion to the Bates or Mosby as it demonstrates procedures for PA with clarity. Does not cover patho or management but still useful to have in your arsenal of books.

HASH(0x9204ba98) out of 5 stars Loved the book hated the Kindle iPad version 7 Jan. 2014
By Tamara C. Sandmeyer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
I wanted this book on my Kindle for ipad. But it did not give me the ability to see each chapter in the table of contents. On an actual Kindle and my Kindle for Mac I was able to see it and quickly navigate through the book. But not the Kindle for ipad. This made it impossible to use in the clinical setting to look up things quickly. I would have had to go through each page to find the symptoms. This book is 850 pages long making this totally impossible. Such a bummer!!!! I will have to consider either purchasing a different ebook format or the hard copy.

By BCT - Published on Amazon.com

This is truly one of the best textbooks that I have ever purchased! I can find information quickly & easily, the content is very well organized as well, condensed down to 'exactly what you need to know!' This is one of the VERY FEW books that I am adamant about keeping...FOREVER! :-D

HASH(0x9204be7c) out of 5 stars Great for anyone interest in learning medical illness/sickness 27 July 2010
By S. Elrasoul - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
I am a paramedic and love this book only because I love to try and figure out what is wrong with my patients and learn from it. I believe this book is great for future medical students or even current physicians only because sometimes you might forget something and this book is right there to help you remember and learn something new. This book is so very helpful and should be on the shelves of anymore anyone only because this will help you better diagnose yourself and better understand what is wrong, but don't let that stop you from visiting your DR lol but it is better to know what is wrong than not know at all. All medical students or current medical workers should have this book just so they can further their education.
