This book explores the relationship between law and corporate finance. The Worst Law Textbook I Have Ever Read

This is an incredibly poorly written book. In order to truly understand whats going on you need a fundamental knowledge of accounting, something which this book spends no time on. Im not expecting the accounting to be that thorough but enough to explain the reasons for any legal principles the author explains. Also many of the legal concepts are themselves explained in long drawn, round a bout way which makes reading this book a war of attrition. However, the worst part of this horrible textbook is the amount of diatribes and irrelevant information. For example there is a sub heading 'Why reduce share capita?' and within that she spends an entire paragraph doing anything but answering that question.

The only use of the book is that it lists some topics of corporate finance so that you can then search for a well written and comprehensive journal on the subject if you need some actual information.
