5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful book for meditation and growth 21 Jan. 2014
By Zra - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I am slowly becoming a great fan of Balthasar. As a student of philosophy preparing for the priesthood, I wanted to see how does the great theologian look at the priesthood. So I bought this book and read it in a slow meditative way and I must say it is a treasure. It is not one book that he wrote but a collection of essays and works that he wrote on the priesthood. You can start reading any of the works without order. Each work has a theme that he expands and talks about with heavy reference to the scripture. I recommend it to anyone who is thinking about the priesthood or want to deepen their knowledge about the priesthood. Great book!

Fantastic book. Very accurately describes how a priest should be formed.
