Format: Hardcover
I really liked this book when it came out because it was such a refreshing change to all the books on clocks that had gone before. Previously the books were mostly crammed with costly pieces worthy of a museum but this volume actually showed pieces that you might be able to own.
True a few clocks illustrated here are so bad in quality they are one small step up from a ticking bean tin but if you want a book full of Tompions, then buy one. And also very hepful for definitions and nomenclature for items that were beneath the dignity of horological snobbery.
A nice little book on realistically available clocks, just keep your thumb over the prices given.
