After trawling through reviews of numerous kettles & getting rather despondent trying to find a decent one I finally discovered this Prestige model.
In a nutshell it looks great, no plastic taste as it's metal inside, does not leak, good water gauge, pours perfectly, oh and boils water! Who would think it was so hard to find a good kettle?
I read a lot of reviews, and have decided that kettles are just one of those things that you'll never find the perfect one - everyone has an opinion. For that reason, went for one that wasn't super expensive.
noisy, boils fast the handle makes for a good balance when
pouring and the short spout gives excellent control.
filling is easy with the sprung lid.
a water level on each side of the handle and the illuminated switch
make it almost perfect.
