From the Inside Flap

BLOODLINE
Dina McDermott is on top of the world. Attractive and independent at thirty, she runs her own business, funded by a generous inheritance. But an explosive chain of events will soon be set into motion--and her perfect life will spin out of control.
A journalist with a fearless instinct, Simon Keller believes he's struck gold when he unearths an unsettling story about former president Graham Hayward, one that started with a secret affair and ended in tragedy. The trail leads Simon to Dina McDermott's front door--and threatens to expose a parentage that would rock the political world. Shaken to her core by a shattering truth, Dina is suddenly thrust into the crosshairs of a cold-blooded killer--and on the run of her life. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

The story was griping from the beginning. The Irish rougue Dillion at work once again. The president as cool and fine as what one should be with his loyal aide. The story brilliant. I was sad when it came to turn the last page because thatwas it and you want to know more. A MUST for Higgins fans!

From the roguish hero's to the cool villains, once again Jack Higgins has managed to come up with yet another truly outstanding read.
When you have turned the last page, you feel desolate that there is not more yet to come. You feel the sadness of the heroes losses and then the beautiful taste of sweet visctory at its conclusion.
A definate must for Jack Higgins fans

Another novel from the Higgins stable that once again leaves you wanting more. Dillon as ever the action man and hero of the day. Once a terrorist now he hunts them down, and delivers a judicial blow.....a final blow. A good story for a film? Will let you decide.

I cannot believe that the author who wrote “The eagle has landed” also penned this rubbish. It’s supposed to be a hard-bitten adventure thriller but instead it’s like a very poor fairy tale in its believability. I think there’s been more scary puppy dogs than the main protagonist and as for his henchmen….well the word inept was invented for these characters. There’s also falling in love at first glance, the most pathetic “torture” scene I’ve ever had the misfortune to read and the conversations between the characters are just Monty Python silly.

I know this book was published originally under the pseudonym “Harry Patterson” but in my opinion Patterson exists and is no older than 6 judging by this nonsense. Either that or Higgins had a lobotomy and then wrote this drivel.

Jack Higgins and his Hero Sean Dillon at their very best. As always Higgins puts enough information about his characters into each book, you can pick up any Sean Dillon story with no need to read the preceding ones but on this one occasion l would recommend reading book 5. There are also references to Sean's previous escapades so should you be reading them in order, as l am, you will be reminded of the previous tales and adventures. I highly recommend this series.

Utter trash. I can't believe so many five star reviews. The story is completely predictable and plodding. No surprises or twists, dialogue like something from Thunderbirds - at one point the villain actually 'throws his head back and laughs' - and completely wooden characters. Higgins peaked with The Eagle Has Landed and is just trotting this garbage out in his sleep.

Typical Jack Higgins novel, plenty of action and lots of twists and turns in the story line, once you get into the book you need to keep reading to find out what is coming next.
Always a very good read

I have never read a Mariah Stewart book before. Bought the novel based only on the title as there was no reviews or story description. I am so glad that I did. This book was great and well worth a read. Am definately buying more of her novels.Enjoy.
