Present arms was UB40's 2nd album , I remember buying that album and this "dub" version on release back in the day ... Its a nice companion album to the original, not indispensible but certainly worth owning if you , like me, remember when UB40 were a relevant band and had something to say ... not the most exciting "dubs" in the world ( really just instrumental versions of the album tracks) but I enjoyed hearing it again :)

I've had present arms in either vinyl (when it was released) or cd format. But never owned this a more chilled out version with no lyrics. With some cool dub going on. Never let it be said they never played great stuff.
It's such a shame they went more poppy and commercial after this. I mean they were never bad after but obviously wanted to aim at a more mainstream audience.
