Dr Sarah Buckley
This book gives us a distillation of wisdom on birthing and yoga... expanded and inspiring natural birth stories. -- Mother Magazine - U.K.

This book provides guidance and instruction in yoga for a healthful pregnancy and gentle birth. The central section of the book is devoted to detailed descriptions of postures and movements and includes helpful photos illustrating the postures. Throughout, the author gives sage and sensible advice to the mother-to-be and promotes a woman's right to make her own choices about the birthing environment and the method of her baby's delivery.

Format: Paperback
this book provides neither yoga exercises nor inspirational/informative accounts of pregnancy and child birth. if you are looking for these things i would not recommend this book. for yoga i am using and loving a book by Freedman, 'yoga for pregnancy birth and beyond'. for natural birth stories and techniques 'birth skills' by Sundin has been helpful.
