Beanbags provide a convenient support to wildlife photographers working from a vehicle. Working from a car allows you to get much closer to birds and mammals, but you need to support your telephoto lenses for sharp pictures. The H shaped design of this Beanbag allows it to grip the door instead of sagging. Even the window glass will support it allowing the camera height to be altered by winding the window up and down. It is a great improvement on a standard beanbag. Approximately 22cm square it is in effect two bags sewn together allowing the beans to move from one half to the other, which creates the gripping action. It is made of a tough green camouflage DPM material. The bags are supplied prefilled with polystyrene beans and have a zipped opening to allow filling with dried beans, rice, peas, sunflower seeds or even corn. Two tabs are attached so that the bag can be tied to a vehicle in case it should fall to the ground. The bag is also on sale empty for filling with dried beans, rice, sunflower seeds etc.

With the bag on the bottom of the window frame and the lens on top, he found it to be ideal - he can still get his hand to the zoom ring and takes the pressure off his arms, resulting in no camera shake - he loves it.
I used it myself when I was out photographing a church and had forgotten my tripod.. the church ground werent big and I was using wide angle lenses, but felt the need for a little stability as it was overcast that day. So placed the bag on the wall and set out about shooting - perfect, and easy to pick it up and move along without the hassle of folding and unfolding my tripods legs :)
Easy to add a key ring and spring clip to it and then attach to your camera bag. I would definitely recommend this bag.
The filling can be replaced which is a bonus.
Great to use when taking photos in awkward situations such as in hides, lying on the floor or in the car.
