This is my first gaming laptop, and it performs flawlessly. I am a big Destiny 2 fan, and this runs it in highest graphics settings without an issue. I have just installed Red fall, and once again with the graphics maxed out, it handles it without breaking a sweat.
The other use I wanted it for, was video editing using Davinci Resolve for go-pro, drone, and dslr video. This again is working perfectly, with no lag, glitching or freezing, even with 4k videos.
For general use, web browsing, streaming videos, office, and emails the battery life is pretty good, but as to be expected, once you start to use it at full power, if you're running it for games, or video editing, it does drain it quicker.
On a full charge, I got over an hour on D2, using mobile hotspot while streaming to Twitch, and had 27% battery life left. IMHO, I am happy with that.
The touch pad is easy to use, and with the adaptive touch, really useful. I use a controller for games, so can not say how it is for gaming.
It is a nice looking machine, keyboard lighting effects can be changed, but the logo light on the back of the screen is not, It is quiet heavy, as is the sizeable charging unit, I have a laptop bag, see my reviews it is not an issue.
Overall I can not find anything to complain about
