The delivery of this item was fairly prompt and the product was well packaged. Upon opening the box we found that it came with everything except specific 12 month warranty details.

The introduction page of the instruction booklet was hilarious. It read like a bad, computerised translation and made very little sense.

After setting it up we could not get it to work. A quick message to the seller, Bennetts, and we were told that the side clamps had to be fully pressed in at the bottom sides also - Once both ends were clamped in correctly the juicer would work. The clamps are part of the safety system and prevent operation if they are not locked properly. So we did it and it worked! Bennetts customer service was excellent. We were very impressed.

The juicer itself is very big and sturdy. The black and brushed silver casing makes it look very nice on the worktop. The rubber feet on the juicer's base adhere to the worktop, ensuring the unit does not move during operation.

This juicer works really well. The two speed settings ensure that we can juice everything we want to; carrots, pears, bananas, apples, cucumber, parsnips and peppers, just to name a few. We placed a small plastic bag into the pulp container to collect the pulp, which was very effective and cut down the amount to wash.

There are five parts on the unit that are removable for cleaning, plus the large juice container. All the removable parts are quite large; there are no small, bitsy pieces, therefore, cleaning is very simple.

It is easy to waste very little of the end products of juicing. For example, we use the vegetable pulp as a base for soup, and compost the rest.

Overall, we are impressed by the performance of this juicer and would recommend it.

I bought this to get rid of all the wind fall apples. Theres only so much apple crumble, pie, cake, sauce...etc that one family can eat! I spent two days making about 15 litres of apple juice, and will probably use this for other fruit and carrots

This is a lovely item, easy to use and assemble. Comes apart well for cleaning and seems robust. HOWEVER, I don't think it will stand up to abuse or over use. I roughly chopped and cored apples before hand as I didn't want bruised/damaged fruit in the juice. I found the juice was good fine quality and pulp relatively dry, you do get a fair amount of foam on top of the juice that I discarded

I did find myself having to rinse out the components and empty the pulp collector of the juicer afer every jug full. Which I didn't really have a problem with because of the ease of dismantling and rinsing. If you don't do this and you are using very pulpy/stringy fruit, I can see there would be the potential for over heating - you need to keep an eye out for signs that the blades have bunged up and stopped slicing or the sieve is blocked. The blades in the juicer are very fine as is the sieve, so by the time you have made a jug of juice these components will need cleaning to avoid over heating.

This is a juicer and not a food processor, so if you want something that just micro minces fruit to a pulp so that you can drink it then this is not the item for you. If you want a fine juice with no bits in it, then this item is great for those purposes, but you do need to observe sensible practice and good hygeine and rinse after use, otherwise you will have issues with it.

One last point - make sure the side clips have 'clicked' into place audibly or the juicer won't work!

1. good expensive looking product
2. lots of juice from fruit and veg! (spinach and celery as well)
3. the pulp produced is still slightly moist compared to more expensive (£200+) products which means the item isn't as effective to yield maximum juice quantities

cheap, good looking and works reasonably well. good buy

Having had this juicer for less than two weeks, it has died! During the second time of use it started to give off fumes and it finally stopped working when trying to juice a pineapple (after chopping and peeling). It was fab to start off with. Now the problem is actually finding who I contact to try and get it sent back.
