I've read a few books on property investment for beginners which are usually quite dull and I try to plough my way through them, so when I bought this one I was expecting the same dry information. How wrong I was! Bindar writes in a very easy , uncomplicated format. She makes the book personal, so that you are asking yourself questions all the way through, she speaks of her own personal experiences and the case studies are revelatory. These are ordinary women like me, who are taking steps to financial freedom. Bindar comes across as a best friend who is going to walk with you, to enable you to realise your potential. I haven't finished it yet, but I'm really enjoying it and almost don't want to finish it. But when I do, I'm hoping I'll be ready to write my own story.
I thought the book Power Property Investing For Women was an amazing read, I'm not one normally to read books but this one was recommend to me. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down! I feel so ready now to start investing in property. Never thought a book could inspire me so much!
I took several books (including this one) on my beach holiday, so I could switch between books throughout the holiday. Instead I ended up reading Bindar's book from front to back non-stop as it is so well written, concepts are easy to understand, great tips and recommendations, a perfect balance between property learnings and personal development/mindset advice. Bindar shares some of her own personal experiences throughout her journey (good and bad), which I found very useful and inspiring for my own property journey. She is also very generous with the insights and case studies that she shares, content that many others charge thousands of pounds to teach in a course. All the fundamentals are in the book!
I bought this book, thinking I had heard it all. How wrong I was. Bindar gives an honest account of her journey through the property minefield; and shows how she got there. I could not put this book down. I look forward to my own journey of becoming financially savvy in the property market.
I brought this book on the recommendation of a dear friend of mine who has attended an evening networking event that Bindar runs Female Property Alliance. I purchased it and I have to say I absolutely loved it and I couldn't put it down!
There was so much information and gems. It is beautifully written by the author, easy to understand, it flowed, step by step processes.
What I enjoyed the most was the lots of cases studies of everyday people of different ages, backgrounds to have the attitude there is a property strategy for everyone doesn't matter what the circumstances are which I loved.
I liked the section of why women make great investors, fears and obstacles, talked about various mistakes in property, how to fund deals using other peoples money and so much more I can go on.
I also liked the practical side of this book, with the exercises at the end of every chapter to reflect and what action I needed to take as my next steps. - So it provided clarity, which was amazing for someone who has been thinking about property investing for over 5 years but done nothing about it.
As I have been thinking for years about getting into property investing therefore I have read alot of books about the topic of property, different strategies and I absolutely enjoyed reading this book Power Property Investing for Women. I couldn't find any fluff - it was all to the point.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who is thinking about property to buy to live in or investment as it will give you the inspiration to believe you can do this yourself and your family and future with the attitude if they can do it so can I! I have already given my copy to my sister and brought a copy for my brother for his birthday gift as he is always talking about getting into property and has done nothing. So absolutely I would recommend this book to others as its a starting point for beginners. Mya
I have now read the book twice, attended the Smart Core Networking event and will be signing for the group mentoring with Bindar this September. The book is very easy to read and understand and Bindar is such a lovely, knowledgeable and down to earth person! After reading the book, I wanted to speak to mentees who completed the mentoring with Bindar, so I attended her networking event! She introduced me to her past students and we had a good chat. Most of them are already successful property owners and on their way to build their portfolio using some of the strategies Bindar introduced them to. The general feedback was; small mentoring group, excellent teacher, very approachable and caring, hand held to purchase your first property and reasonable pricing compering to other mentors who charge much more but don’t deliver and are never available. The networking event itself was a good source of information, packed with a recent property law updates. I felt very welcomed and had so many opportunities to talk to Bindar and other ladies who were very supportive and shared their success stories with me. If you are looking for a genuine, knowledgeable mentor to get you on the property ladder Bindar is your mentor!
I met Bindar through a fellow property investor a while ago and therefore already knew of her solid reputation in the industry, I also attended some of her London networking events - the Female Property Alliance, which are always buzzing with energy and inspire me every time. So of course when Bindar announced she was publishing a book I pre-ordered it straight away as I knew it would be great... and it didn't disappoint! Bindar delivers a realistic but powerful vision of property investing, with a specific focus and interest in women starting their journey in property. I would highly recommend this book to friends and family as it provides the inspiration and "quick" to get started, always with a positive energetic mindset but from a place of knowledge, due diligence and safety. I love the way the book is sprinkled with quotes (my favourite one is on the photo attached) and there are also a couple of nice surprises for anyone purchasing the book ;) Well done Bindar x
I started Bindar s book last night and couldn’t put it down, I had to finish it. So many useful tips in this book. Bindar is so knowledgeable in the field property anyone wanting to get into property should read this book. Thank you so much Bindar for your invaluable insight into property investing.
Bought this book to my wife and this is what she said about it:
There is a Wealth Mindset versus Broke Mindset chapter which had many more points compared to other self development material I came across. Much more detailed which was a real eye opener to me. Reading it honestly put myself in check with my goals, my WHY once again. Its more like an active work book with exercises at the end on each chapter to keep you on track and motivation quotes which kept me inspired. She shares her mistakes which made me connect on a very personal level and know we can overcome even those! And why women are fantastic investors made me feel appreciated and proud to be a woman! With real life property investing examples it feels doable with the right approach to property investing, there are no unrealistic examples which can create a confusion for the beginners which is wonderful compared to others I came across. After reading it I understood more deeply our mistakes in property journey, mainly by not asking for help enough then it was needed…;) I feel she put a whole property investing course + personal mentorship bits in one book. It made me rethink our future investing strategy too;) Even not being a beginner myself,I really enjoyed it and learned from it! For beginners its a MUST!
