Format: Paperback
This is a lovely, inspiring book which shows the many aspects of kindness. This is the sort of attitude towards others which can enrich the life of the person who manifests these qualities, and the sort of attitudes which deeply affect and touch other people. And there are many stories to illustrate what he means. You could actually substitute the word love for kindness, but I suspect that the author didn't do this because love is open to misunderstandings, whereas kindness isn't.

The writing style flows nicely, and the author seems to embody all the qualities he mentions in his book. A lovely read.

Piero Ferrucci writes beautifully, his style is easy to digest and the topics discussed are poignant to me on so many levels. I would not say this is a Self Help book but more of a gentle study of how kindness shapes an individual and the positive affect it has on life and relationships. The tone is light, the concepts are nothing new but are presented in a way that helps you see things in a different light. It does not condemn or chastise but envelops you with a sense of hope, acceptance and optimism. The best part for me is that nothing is forced upon you. The book does not ask anything more to be read and contemplated. It is split into sections such as Honesty, Forgiveness, Sense of belonging, Joy, Patience and Loyalty. The topics can be read as individual chapters; dipping into each section when the time and mood takes you or read consecutively as you would a novel.

I wish I had the words to convey how exceptional this book really is. I loved it.

Pierro Ferrucci is a brilliant writer. Much of his writing and ideas hark back to buddhist concepts and I really love that.
Buy this book - it's changed the way I interact with people and I'm much more conscious of how I'm acting and the affect this might have upon others now.

A very well written book, with much food for thought, and very sound information. It provides much insight and awareness of unhelpful behaviours, and how to have a more peaceful life and extending more kindness. I would have given it 5 stars, as it really is a very good book, however I find there is a slight overload of anecdotes to 'back up' his 'evidence'. Nevertheless, I am delighted I purchased the book, and will be dipping into it again and again, for its lovely suggestions. A very valuable book.
