5.0 out of 5 stars Great Introduction, 15 Nov. 2013
By HigherVedic - Published on Amazon.com

Great introductory book. Even for those individuals who are already familiar with the basics of Sanatana Dharma there is a wealth of knowledge in this small book. Mr Knapp is doing a good work with helping the English speaking population get a clearer view of the Dharma as it is presented In the Scriptures. I thank Krishna, thank Mr. Knapp for humbling himself and letting Krishna guide him to serve humanity.

Liked the book. Well suited for those who don't know much about the Hindu religion and culture. Would have preferred more indepth analysis rather that mere repetition of traditions.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent introduction to Dharmism 4 April 2013
By Patti Jacko - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
I am considering the Hindu faith. This is an excellent introduction. His very considerate writing and obvious love for his faith come through. There is no heavy handed catechism or "musts" that one has to consider to convert. Stephen Knapp presents Hinduism (I wish to call it as it should be Dharmism) as it should be presented. He doesn't come accross as a guru or a want to be guru. He presents his faith as he should as a hindu, sharing it willingly and generously. Highly recommended.

The whole book is an excellent exposure of the Vedic Dharam. I recommend this book to everyone who is anxious to know the basis of Sanatan or Vedic Dharam..
