The Powerblock Sport 2.4 adjustable dumbbells replace eight pairs of traditional dumbbells and offer weight adjustment from 1.5kg to 11kg per hand. I like an idea. The whole concept is very good but poorly executed. Weights rattle during exercises which gives uneasy feeling they might slip and/or break. They supposed to be identical but they are not. I have two (one for each hand) and mixed some of the weights. They didn't match. Weight from one didn't match to another. It's like they have been made in you local garage by kids. £122 for pair it's definitely too much.

Had these for years and LOVE them... so much cheaper then the gym after a little while and great for home workouts because they are so compact. If you have thin walls be warned they are a little noisy due to the metal when taking in and out but otherwise great. I think it's about time to upgrade to the next weight category now thought.

We do not have a lot of free space in our home but these are excellent space savers as far as weights go. They take up very little room and the adjustable nature of the weight is very convenient. If you add to that the fact that you can buy add on modules to increase the amount of weight it takes then you've got a great set up for a compact home gym!
