This gives the impression of someone who has read a book and written and essay on it. It is so full of gramatical errors it is hard to read. I don't think that English is the authors' first language. Don't waste your money.

This is such a great book, not only does it leave you with a lifted spirit and a new burst of energy, but it also helps to assure you that you are not alone, everyone has negative feelings. The book does not just say "be happy" it helps to explain why people get caught up on negative feelings, and the long lasting effects these negative feelings can have if left unchecked. Being positive is not about being happy, being happy comes from being positive! While this book is not very long, it is packed with great ways to handle negative situations, and find the positive light in them all. Not being a terrible negative person myself, I was glad to see that I already do many of the suggestion in the book, but also glad to find many more ways to put a positive spin on any situation. Read this book, you will thank yourself afterwards.

If you are looking for a new read to lift your spriits, or maybe you are in a negative space at the moment, you need to read this book. The author artfully crafts each section in a manner that is not only easy to read, but enjoyable to read. The 40 tips are all very helpful, but I really like that the author suggest trying out a few and then adding more. Some are more complicated then others, but most are just a new way of thinking. After reading the book I felt relaxed and in a positive state of mind, a state I hope to continue by using the tips.

What a fantastic, invaluable guide to positive thinking! It is not enough sometimes to simply be told to "think positively" - the author gives 40 different, effective ways in which to do this, and how to do it. It is very uplifting, and makes you feel like you can conquer virtually all your problems if you simply follow all the different points and make the effort to really absorb the advice being given. We are all prone to negative feelings at times - that is simply a part of being human.

But with a guide like this to help put you on the right track whenever you need a boost, you can effectively conquer those feelings. I find it opens up a whole new world of fresh possibilities at your feet - opportunities for a happier, more contented and stress-free life. It helps you to see the good that is really out there, and all the potential that life holds. I've heard a saying which I think is apt: "It is not what you look at that matters, but what you see", which is so true. Highly recommended!!

All of us can use a little more positive energy in our lives. We encounter so much negativity every day, either from friends or family, or co-workers, or (most often) the stories we hear on the news every day. It can be hard sometimes not to be affected by it. Plane crashes, shootings, beheadings in Syria and Brazil. It's overwhelming...so much brutality. What can we do? Luckily, we have an author like Lucy Demmy who has written this fantastic book that can turn that negative energy into a positive, and make you feel happy once again! Lucy has been extremely generous here by giving you a whopping 40(!) ways to become and remain positive. Some of her suggestions make a lot of sense (overcoming fear, staying focused) while others might be a bit of stretch (loving everyone on the planet unconditionally sounds more like a hippie dream than a possible reality.) Still, even if you disagree with a few of these ideas you still have dozens more to choose from! That's the beauty of the book, there's something for everyone! Highly recommended.

This book is one of the most wonderful things for my makeover attitude that has proved successful for my career as well as mind!One of the major disadvantages of self-help guides are that they don't have any more substance than that you can already find, but this book has zillions of strategies and methods to channel the positivity in you forever! The book provides details on the history of channelling positivity as well as the greatest feats of implementing positivity in the 21st Century. The book provides ample data on meditation, yoga and other lifelong practises to channel all positivity tapped in your subconscious. I was looking for something to pull me out of my depression and this has proved out to be my lucky genie!
