B and Ivy’s story is one that is hard to read because of the subject matter but Cambria and does it so well. The guilt Braeden fells for something he couldn’t stop it’s heartbreaking. This man knows something so horrific about his girlfriend and is torn up about what to do for the best, that all I wanted to do was just wrap him up in a huge hug and tell him to talk to a Ivy and everything would be ok.
As for Ivy, you can tell she is suffering slightly from some form of PTSD and not knowing why she feels like she does it is driving her crazy. WITH Rome off to play in the NFL, all 3 of them moving together. Yet this doesn’t stop certain events.
I love that there was parts from Zacks POV, it was just very scary to see into his mind and his regret or lack of for what he has done. You get some understanding of why that is like he is but I blame his dads not seen it before it got as far as it did and son for covering for him too many times.
There will be # book 6, but as of now I have no idea who it is going to be about yet I know it doesn’t matter as I will one click or pre order as soon as possible!!
Another hit and great addition to the hashtag series ❤
"The stars are ours" and I'll keep on being #nerdy can't wait to read the next in the series
She manages to keep the original characters in the book as much as possible whilst still focusing on the other characters that we were all dying to know so much more about!
This book has topped so many in my reading list this year! It is defiantly worth a read if you are keeping up with the series.
Firstly I want to address the fact that this book is in three parts. Normally when this happens I curse and want to read quicker to get back to the story at hand. I even think about skipping the entire part. I even considered it with this book. But of course I wouldn't. A part of me wanted to know what goes on in Zach's mind. It explained a lot.
Now this book touches on rape. I know there will be people who have issues about this but I think the author handled it really well. What people have to realise is that firstly... this is a work of fiction. Secondly... everyone reacts differently to the same situation.
Anyway, this book was intense. I really felt for Braeden and didn't wonder how he would react to a lot of situations.
I really enjoyed this book. There were times I cried and times I laughed. I am really looking forward to reading the next book in the series
