1.5m length with thicker more robust casing and thicker 24 AWG copper cable for faster charging.

Compatible with tablets which use a 2.5mm diameter round connector and charge at 5V / 2A or less. Check the pictures of the connector at the top of this page. 2.5mm is smaller than a headphone socket which is 3.5mm, if your charging socket is the same size as the headphones one, then this cable will not fit.

IMPORTANT - this cable will only work if the original charger had a 5V output. It is not compatible with devices that require a 9V or 12V charger.

Charging speed depends on how much power is being output by the USB socket.

    Very pleased with this cable. Let me explain why.

    --FIRST-- the cable itself is nice and thick, seems very well made and inspires confidence in its charging abilities.
    --SECOND-- the cable now allows me to use a phone charger (5V 2A) as a charger for my tablet. This means that when I stay away from home I only need one charger with two cables (one for phone, one for tablet).
    --THIRD-- the standard charger with my tablet heats up a lot. My phone charger does not. I am a LOT happier charging the tablet with the phone charger due to less worrying heat build up.

    I have not tested the charging speed between the two chargers yet, but anecdotally, I have tested the cable with a 1.8A charger and it barely kept up with the discharge of the tablet, though this probably says more about the tablet than the cable.

    I would have no problems recommending this to everyone.

    I ordered this on a Sunday and received my order by the following Wednesday in less than 72 Hours.

    As to the USB Charger Cable itself. This seems to be an excellent quality product. That I purchased for use as a backup charger cable for use with an "Output X2": 7" Generic android Tablet (As sold by"Sports Direct") That came supplied with a Generic 13Amp Plug Type Charger that whose Pins unfortunately did not fully insert into a Mains Socket and was still useable. although with partly exposed Pins!.

    Update-29/04/2014: I have been using this cable for over a month now with no problems and would therefore recommend.

After four weeks using this cable I find that charging, as claimed, is fast and I now enjoy all the advantages of USB charging for my Linx 10 tablet.     I had a lot of trouble getting various chargers to register with my tablet & after trying many I came to the conclusion that although these cables work they are just microscopically out from the manufacterers original so when you plug them in, the device will charge up slowly but the display will still say discharging. BTW I bought 5A & 10W chargers to see if it was the power that was at fault...

    I bought two of these for two different chinese tablets (Hyundai T7 and Yuandao N90S) both have a 2.5mm x 0.7mm plug that seems to be the standard for charging this kind of tablets.

    With these cables I`ve been able to charge both of them with a generic USB charger without any problem. The cables are long also which is a plus when your are using the tablet during the charge

    Ce cable USB offre beaucoup plus de polyvalence qu' un transformateur lambda puisqu'il permet, par exemple, de brancher sa tablette sur un PC (pour la charge uniquement), à un Chargeur secteur (5V 2A, j'utilise celui de l'Iphone), à un Chargeur voiture... Bref, exactement comme on peut le faire avec un smartphone!

    J'imagine le garder longtemps tant il est solide et rigide au niveau du connecteur qui casse toujours sur les transformateurs livrés d'usine ou pas chers... Je trouvais également détestable de devoir jeter un transformateur en parfait état pour un connecteur cassé.

    La belle longueur est également fort appréciable, même avec la version 1m50, c'est déjà le double de ce que l'on a habituellement!
