Product Description

Multi coloured Pop Up Friends with Hammer. This wipe clean brightly coloured, reasonably priced toy will teach your little one hand and eye co-ordination, colours and different shapes. The large shapes on this product make it easy for little hands to pick up and play. By using the Tap Tap hammer to hit the small shapes at the bottom front of this item it will make the animal with the co-ordination shape pop up then hide again i.e. hit red circle then red circle on top will pop up to reveal a funny face (does not pop out to avoid any damage to childrens eyes or face if too close). The larger removable shapes will also teach your child the difference between circles, triangles, squares, and hexagons. The different faces on each individual shape, cat, duck, bear, and dog will help them distinguish the different animals. Recommended Age from 18 months +

I'm not a fan of this toy at all - it felt really cheap and plasticy when we got it. When you press the buttons with the hammer or your hand for the shapes to pop up they hardly pop up at all - maybe only a couple of cm max so you just about see the face. It is of course durable as it's plastic and it was quite good as a shape sorter, but I didn't find it enjoyable to use with my 1 year old daughter.

I bought this for my son as we had played with something similar at mother and baby and he loved it. On arrival the item is brightly coloured and well packaged. The disappointing part for me and my son is that the characters dont actually pop up very far and they dont stay up.........ideal for teaching colours and shapes tho. We will still get hours of fun and enjoyment out of it i am sure.

My sone had a great time with this bashing about, great that it also has animals, shapes and colours that helped me reach my son what to do. Only criticism would be that it would be more fun if the shapes jumped higher (maybe on a spring?)

Cute little toy.... Purchased this for my 6mth old Granddaughter (who is now 1) and she still loves to play with the pop up friends and learn her shapes, she doesn't t really bang the shapes as the hammer provided is a red plastic one and it's quite big compared to the one ilistrated in the picture, so you don't get a good hit as it doesn't cover all the bottom shape you have to bang in order for each shape to pop up.... but she is happy just taking the shape people out and tries working out as to which shape they belong into. :) and she loves to have a good munch on the shapes for her teething as it is safe each shape is solid :))

The top up mechanism is weak and not as displayed in the picture, in the end my son just ends up using the hammer to bang everything else in the house. I was going to send it back but he loves placing the pieces into the correct shapes. If your looking for something colourful and cute then this is it just bear in mind there was not much pop in the pop up
