This work is of vital importance to anyone who might wish to understand and comprehend the political thought of the Middle Ages as much as that of the ancient world. At a time when the hereditary principle is out of fashion or favour, Aristotle makes justifiably provocative study.

HASH(0x94530d8c) out of 5 stars Excellent edition 25 Sept. 2013

I love Aristotle, and this Edition presents his most important work on Politics, which is the one I turn to from time to time in study. The same previous book is torn, so I need a new copy for reference. And amazon's dispatch is timely, packages being clumsy though.

HASH(0x94530c90) out of 5 stars A must reading for all citizens. 28 April 2000

Aristotles "Politics" is one of the most important works in the history of western world. Although the historical setting is different today the ideas disscussed and the problems that Aristotle tries to solve are equally important as they were 2300 years ago.
