I'm not a cook but I am an illustrator. This book is full of mid-century, delightful, artwork by Czeslaw Wielhorski. Well worth purchasing and I bet the cooks will like it too ! Discover more similar art on my website

5.0 out of 5 stars 1st Generation Polish in America Recommendation 11 April 2013
By Curly - Published on
Format: Hardcover
My Polish friends from Chicago were 1st Generation Polish Americans. They recommended this book as a base for all of my favorite Polish recipes. Through this cookbook, I literally went from being a terribly inexperienced cook, to a person who can make stocks and combine flavors with ease. I'm so very grateful to the authors of this cookbook!
