I've now had this A360 for two weeks. I bought it to replace the chest strap and Bluetooth H7 HRM. The chest strap was prone to moving and giving ridiculous results, no matter how tight I had it, especially when doing any exercises when lying prone. (By the way what's the issue with washing the strap? Don't most people have a shower after exercising?)
Packaging is excellent, as good as Apple's. The included manual is minimalist, but there is a PDF version, all 63 pages of it.
The wrist strap was a bit fiddly and seems very weak where it holds the "watch" in. Eventually got it on ok but it does seem to have too little tension to hold in the watch. An odd kind of arrangement to latch the strap.
There have been comments that it's not accurate. I think it reads a bit low but I'll know better after more use.
Polar claim up to 12 days battery life. I get 3 days between 100% charged and what appears to be fully discharged as shown by the battery meter. Bluetooth is ON which it doesn't need to be until you want to sync. But when you turn it off it flags up a warning that all the devices which have been synced (eg iPad, iPhone) will need to be reset. Quite what is meant by this I haven't discovered. (So it might be my fault not Polar's.) (Update: Have spent a long time searching the manual, the internet, switching on/off all my devices, switching Bluetooth on and off on my devices but cannot bring back Bluetooth on the A360. Now instead of syncing, the A360 searches, instructs you to touch the device with the A360, tries to pair, fails to pair. Yet somehow or other the A360 transfers data to the device. Have sent a query to UK Support.)
Setting up on MacBook Pro threw up one of these little irritants: security stopped the downloads as Apple hasn't approve Polar's software.

I have had this for about 3 weeks now and I love it. The hardware is great, the app and web service are good but need a little more work and have some missing features. I got this after breaking my trusty Fitbit Charge HR and by comparison overall the Polar is better made and much more use for the training tracking aspect, It is great for Gym and Crossfit training and Running (although it needs better integration with phone's GPS for tracking runs using the app). There are a few things Fitbit does better but they are mostly in the app and web service so hopefully Polar will catch up.

Hardware is solid, easy to use. Love the colour screen and heart rate zones. Latest firmware update that allows it to stay light up is useful but a little tough on the battery. Battery is good if you switch off notifications otherwise plan on charging about every 3 days which is about how often I used to have to charge the Fitbit. It needs a stopwatch/intervals function (in a future update) that runs alongside the training capture so you can use it for HIIT circuits and Tabatas.

Flow App/Web. Good but not great.
Needs much better integration with My Fitness Pal nutrition tracker. In particular I'd like a daily and weekly summary of calories in and calories out via activity available in the flow app and on the web. Marketing an activity tracker with MFP integration that doesn't do this vital energy in vs energy out view is a poor showing by Polar!

Sleep analysis is basic and needs a timeline of restless vs quality sleep and better weekly and monthly analysis. At the moment it only shows a quality percentage each day.

Need a resting heart rate measure taken at waking like the Fitbit does!

Just received my Polar A360 today and I have to say I am extremely impressed. Previously I had the Fitbit charge HR and it gave me a terrible rash so I was looking for a replacement fitness tracker which had the integrated HR monitor. Compared to the Fitbit the quality of the Polar A360 is 10 times better. The strap is very comfortable and sits flush to my wrist. The coloured touch screen is fantastic and a very good quality display. I have the Polar A360 synced up to my phone and I have the notifications turned on (this is optional) and whenever I receive a text, whatsapp, Facebook or Instagram message my polar vibrates and alerts me. When I drove home from work it even gave me traffic alerts! I think this is a great added feature. The fact this fitness watch is waterproof as well is great as I do a lot of swimming so I am now able to track my activity. The app seems very good however I do think that the Fitbit is slightly better and has more features however I am sure Polar will improve this over time. So far so good I will like to see how the battery lasts on this compared with the Fitbit as I was charging this every 3 days. I will review after I have had this a few weeks and tried out more of the settings. But so far so good, great first impressions! Well done Polar on this great piece of technology.

EDITED SEVERAL MONTHS LATER - This product at first was brilliant however there is a serious fault with the design of the strap. It stretches so much that the device actually pops out of the strap. I have requested numerous replacement straps direct from Polar and the same thing keeps happening a couple of weeks later. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS NOW. I am currently arguing with Polar for a return as this product is faulty and is not fit for purpose!!!
