This second part of the Poison Oak Summer trilogy of novellas starts straight in with the excitement. I found myself deep in the story from the very beginning and AK Dawson ratchets up the tension expertly. I don't wish to give away the story but the young Summer Camp counsellor Lucy finds out about her fellow members of the camp and in the process does some growing up.

I find the author's style of writing fluent, deceptively simple and very engaging. The story continues in part 3 which I shall start immediately. I gave part 1 a 5* review. I now find myself reaching for a sixth!

You need to read all 3 parts of this book to get the full story but it is definitely worth it. One of the happiest yet saddest books I have read (you will understand when you read it) but very uplifting. Give it a go, you won't be able to put it down.

This book blew me away again!!!!!!
This series is super, i loved all three of the books. i got so engrossed in the storyline that i was being so animated when reading with hand movements and noises of shock, horro, and laughing. there are so many emotines that go with their series but all i can say is if you like this one then you will love the next one. AMAZING

I really don't understand any of the negative reviews Poison Oak Summer gets - for 77p, less than a bar of chocolate, you can buy an engaging and exciting story full of mystery and emotion - I am thoroughly enjoying it and can't wait to start part 3.
