Covers lot of topics . I enjoyed it very much. Great great
All in all it is okay (3 stars means okay).
The rest of the book summarized what I consider the 'good' advice also found in other hunting books. Some of this advice is to sight in your rifle 2-3 inches high at 100 yards, so that you can shoot directly at a deer out to around 250 yards without any hold-over. Aim for the lungs as this is a large target, and a near miss will likely hit something else that is pretty vital (spine, shoulder, heart...).
The chapter on safety, while basic, was good. Summarizing good safety advice, which is included in the book: Positively identify your target and what is beyond you target. Don't mess this up because once fired you can't take a bullet back, and nothing is worth the risk of shooting your hunting partners.)
The chapter on ballistics had some inaccuracies. These were annoying, and were responsible for the 3-star rating.
