I love this series, Julian is hard to like at points in the book but I couldn't hate him either , I think I guessed the twist pretty early on but won't give it away, Eva is quite lost at the beginning I think but becomes stronger as the story evolves. I don't want to spoil any of the plots and give anything away. For me this is a must read and I'm looking forward to the second and third books to see were this unconventional couple go and if they ever get a happy ever after either together or with others

What can I say..... gripped from the start - had to buy second volume immediately after finishing the first! I would definitely recommend to all who are after good story with some steamy action. Loving the fact it happens in Ireland as I lived there for a while - and I can imagine Julian speaking with an Irish accent.... hmmmm....

Good concept but lots of editing issues. I don’t know if they have been fixed since but the version I read had the American girl talking in ways that weren’t at all American. Some of the formatting in the eBook was dodgy and other stuff needed seeing to. It was really hard to see where paragraphs started and ended. Would be a good read with a few things tidied up.

This was a good read about Evangeline, an American running from a hurt past. She moves to Dublin, where she works and does little else. No friends, no real dress sense and no life. Her work colleagues don't notice her and the work bitch uses every opportunity to embarrass her. When she gets an invitation to the work ball, she takes drastic action by looking for an escort unbeknown to her she has been noticed. Julian, contacts her and decides to introduce her to herself. Making Eva play a game bringing out all her fears and making her realise how she really feels about herself and him. He decides to be her date for the ball. He's secretive and sexual, rich and very sexy. This all happens while she is getting prepared for the ball which her boss'Mr Doe' has said she must attend, another mysterious character nobody has ever seen but seems to have taken an interest in Eva. The plot has twists and much more potential, I wanted to strangle Eva and tell her to grow a pair but Julian gets there first or eventually. The story can seem a bit confusing in parts but the point is met in the end although a sequel is obvious you could finish this story with this book but I have a feeling most will need to read the follow up.

What can I say?! This book was amazing from start to finish, and I cannot wait for book 2 To continue Julian and Eva's story! I loved the plot as it shows how some people are never recognised for their brilliance, it's normally for looks and partners.
I love how Julian brought Eva out of her shell, but he makes her do do without making it obvious. Eva also challenges Julian and makes him a better man but highlights some of his quirky natures!
Brooke has outdone herself, and I'm so excited to continue the story!

I don't usually write reviews, but I really enjoyed this book. From the cover to the last page it was all just so sexy.
Eva's left her life In New Jersey, running from horrible family problems, and has started over in Dublin, Ireland. Now that's all fine and, despite struggling to fit in in her stuck up office she doesn't think of her old life too much.

But then there's a ball. A huge company event and her boss, the secretive Mr. Doe says she has to go. So she does the unthinkable and hires and escort. But Julian Harte isn't just any escort. He's a game playing, unbelievably hot, challenge Eva to the depths of her soul kind of escort.

The steam factor in this one is off the charts. It's been ages since I've read a book with such well written sex scene. And original. Wow, yeah so um I learned a few things. Julian is alpha all the way but some of the romance deep within these scenes had my heart skipping a beat.

I hugely enjoyed this. Eva wasn't the only one who had fallen in love with Julian by the end. And now I'm stalking the authors Facebook page for updates on book 1. OMG I cannot wait. Round Two, Brooke Harris, game on!

Enjoyed the story of Julian and Eva. Was drawn to Eva's storey and hope the excitement continues. Was pleasantly surprised with the content and reading a second time to ensure I didn't miss a bit of Julian's skills. Forget 50 shades, was more of my kind of storey. Can't wait for next book..
