What an amazing book and i'm hoping that Audrey carries on the stories of the characters, This book got me hooked the minute i started reading. Would definitely recommend this book to anyone.
Aimee Stevens is the identical twin of Stephanie who as both arms in a cast so she needs Aimee to fill her place on the team in the Star Raiders regional videogame competition. Little problem Aimee is a second grade school teacher and has no clue how to play the top game The Celestial Prophesy. Daemon Ivanov her sister's friend and player on the team is called in to help her learn to play, he's the star of all of her panty melting fantasies but he never really talks to her. The sexual energy between them is magnetic. So the perfect opportunity has arrived where they are all alone...time to play joystick.
Daemon has had a major crush for Aimee for the last two years but everytime he's been around her he's lost for words just grunting here and there like a caveman. His thoughts towards her were also cavemanish what he wouldn't do to throw her over his shoulder and have his way with her. Just the sight of her gave him an instant stiffy. One taste of Aimee is all he needs to know he is never letting her go, she's going to be his life.
Bonus read of The Virgin and the Cowboy. Carey & Ryder's barn tryst with a two year later epilogue with Colton.
Aimee is a quiet teacher who keeps to herself. She lives with her identical twin sister Steph who is a gaming queen and a celebrity in the gaming world. Unfortunately, Steph has an accident days before a major tournament, so, begrudgingly, Aimee steps in as Steph. The problem is, she has no idea how to even play the game.
Meet Daemon. Hot and sexy "Demon Chaser" in the gaming world and Steph's best friend. He's been recruited to help Aimee get to grips with the game. Both Aimee and Daemon have been awkward around each other for years, neither knowingly they have a crush on each other.
I really enjoyed this hot and sexy read. It had a great pace and I devoured it in one sitting. I felt at times, that everything was moving a little quickly and I would have liked to see more to some of the scenes, but equally, the story is just great as it is. I could have easily read this as a full length novel. The characters were likeable and the sexiness was hot hot hot!!
I can't wait to get stuck into more from this author.
A solid 4 stars from me.

What's bad about this book is the beginning, and the overall plot of the story. In the beginning of the book, we are introduced to the two main characters, who apparently were dancing around one another for the last two years. Right after being told this information, the two almost immediately jump into having sex with one another, a complete 180 in my mind. I had to go back a few pages and reread to see if I had missed something, and discovered I had not. That made me sad, because I would have LOVED to have seen a few scenes of them being awkward around one another, and not just being told that. It would have been so much fun to see awkward scenes between those two (the author is awesome at creating awkward and embarrassing moments, so I would've liked to have seen more). I like it when the shy girl gets the guy, and he appreciates her for it. I also love awkward moments of dancing around one another. But, that was not the case here. Their first scene together was such a jolt to me because the shy girl seemed so brazen all of a sudden. Even another chapter describing them more would have gone a long way to helping me go along with it. Once I got past that initial jolt, I really enjoyed the novella.
The plot is sparse, which is something else I would have loved to have seen more of. I REALLY enjoyed the sex scenes, but I wish there had been more than that. It seemed to me to be a lot of moving from one sex scene to another, which seems to be a trend, after reading Book 2 in this series (which I also recommend). If you are okay with light plot, and love some steamy sex scenes, then you DEFINITELY want to read this book. It got me hot and bothered, even if the romance moved WAY too quickly. The romance and story both moved at very fast speeds, in keeping with the length of the novella, and everything resolved itself very quickly.
What I liked about this story was that it was well-written, with few grammar errors, and it was a sweet romance. As I mentioned earlier, I also loved the sex scenes. I enjoyed the way Daemon looked out for and loved Aimee, They're great together. I wish we had a little more description about the main characters, so that I could love them even more. Unfortunately, that wasn't there for me.
There was a little bonus story at the end as well that was good cowboy fun. It gets me very excited to see the next book in this series since it features a cowboy. I hope that book is longer.
Overall, I recommend this book. It's a fun romp in the video game world, and it's short and steamy. It's lighthearted and fun, but moves quickly, so be prepared for that. I enjoyed this book and read the second book in the series because of it. I wasn't disappointed in that book either, and will definitely be reading more of Audrey Randall's stories.
It made being a geek HAWT!!!
Daemon is a famous gamer who plays The Celestial Prophesy with Aimee's twin sister Steph. When she's hurt Aimee is asked to take her place for a tournament with a HUGE cash prize.
Daemon is so well written, I want one 😉
Aimee is a reserved but not a weak character, which I thank author Audrey Randall for. She's strong when it comes to the steamy romance she has with Daemon.
The storyline was adorable. It was a story of hot sex and gaming. LOVE IT!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE OVER 18 WITH A SENSE OF HUMOUR AND PENCHANT FOR A FOOD DIRTY BOOK!
