"[A] tale of mystery, death and good versus evil" (Press Association)
"Montanari's superior thriller...[is] a welcome change from the gore typical of the serial killer subgenre. Likewise, Byrne and Balzano possess a psychological depth all too rare in such fiction" (Publishers Weekly)

Not his best but I'll continue buying the series of Byrne&Balzano...started off brilliantly but two thirds of the way through the story seemed to lack believability around the time that Lily came to the fore and also when the team of detectives started chopping up newspapers to find the next death scene.

Brilliant as always from Mr Montanari - I just love this series. I have found myself growing closer to Kevin and Jessica as I read each book.
Not bad.quite a good story but a bit like all his other books. I think I will give him a miss for a while.
