About the author

Amanda Keetley founded her company, Less Plastic, in 2015 to raise awareness of the growing issue of plastic pollution and what we can do to tackle it. She has brought the "less plastic" lifestyle to a wide audience via her blog, infographics and social media following; inspiring individuals, businesses, schools, and organizations to use less plastic.
She delivers talks and workshops to organizations of all sizes, sharing practical tips to reduce plastic as an individual, as well as her 5P's framework to become a #PlasticGameChanger in the workplace.
She decided to write her book, "Plastic Game Changer," to empower more people to accelerate plastic reduction efforts in their organizations and make a game-changing difference to the ocean plastic crisis.
In her spare time, she organizes monthly community beach cleans and leads her local Surfers Against Sewage #PlasticFreeCommunities campaign in her home-town in Devon in the UK, to encourage local businesses to find alternatives to single-use plastic. She also loves dog walks, yoga, kayaking, snorkeling, learning how to grow food in her back garden, and spending time with family and friends.
You can find Amanda on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram as @LessPlasticUK and on LinkedIn is Amanda Keetley. You can learn more about her work at www.lessplastic.co.uk

The book and authors advice sets out how to read it so you get the most from it.
Fascinating and achievable advice for everyone one of us.
So why have so many people not yet “got” the fact that the world does not have a limitless amount of resource and we cannot continue to turn these natural resources into products we just throw away.
What we all need is to be educated, so we can make choices on what we buy and who we buy it from. As do suppliers and supermarkets. The more of us that insist on a plastic free world and the more companies that insist on a plastic free world will put pressure down the supply chain.
“Plastic Game Changer” is a great place to start that education for all of us. Easy to read, short sharp and to the point. If, like us, you want to reduce the amount of plastic you use and the amount of waste we create, this book is a great place to start.
