    No more almost trashing my guitar
    It looks mint against my Epiphone SG and I now no longer have to worry about my guitar almost falling to the ground as this is a locking unit (my old leather strap tried to write off my guitar a few times).Form and function is 10/10.

      I really didn’t want to drill into my PRS like you do with traditional locking straps and ended up finding this! It’s fairly sturdy and doesn’t rub against the body on guitar. I just wish the strap could go longer as I play with my guitar lower down, but it’s not a major problem.

      I've bought two of these - a woven one for a 25 year-old Strat, and a leather one for a heavier mahogany-bodied Tele. I've waited a year to post a review since buying the last one as I thought I'd see how they stood up over a period of time.

      The Pros:
      Secure - despite some reviews to the contrary, it doesn't feel like it's going anywhere and the locking end-pieces feel pretty robust. How they'd hold up to non-stop touring I'm not too sure - but for Joe Average, they do the job.
      Safe - hasn't marked either of my guitars (and I'm fussy), but again others appear to have had issues
      Price - pretty good value
      Ease of use - simple to put on, but...

      The Cons:
      Ease of use - ...a lot more fiddly to take off! You have to depress a small lever whilst trying to turn a knurled wheel, and trust me - it can be a pain in the backside. I usually resort to taking the guitar off and resting it somewhere safe first. Even then, it's usually a two-handed job.
      Comfort - the woven strap is OK for the Strat, but I bought the leather number for the heavier Tele and it does start to cut in after while. Both really need a bit more padding and width, and I'd be happy to pay a couple of quid more for that extra comfort.
      Looks - generally OK, but the plastic adjustment buckle does look a tad crap.

      Overall - I'd generally recommend for standard Fender-shape users, but I can see it wouldn't work with everything so check it out first.

      Softer on bare skin than the similar $30 Planet Waves item PWSPL200. Get this one for $35 instead of the basic version. Somehow I got lucky and got this one for $26. Locking straps are a more cost-effective solution than locking strap buttons, and you avoid potentially fiddling with new screws in your guitar.
