“Don’t you remember what I told you? You’re my northern wind, my tramontana.”

The first thing I did when I finished A Place In the Sun was checking if it was easy to get to Vernazza from Scotland. I want to go there and experience everything that the story of Luca and Georgie made me feel- Love and passion. I fell in love with the village and its people . #InstaLove

The story of Luca and Georgie is a story about fate and life.

Georgie is a heroine who is determined, sassy and driven. Tired of her mother's matchmaking she decided to escape England and ended in Italy, in Verazza. Her mission- find a husband.

"She was bold and beautiful, adventurous and so full of life, she made everyone around her feel it as well. "
Gianluca...*Swoon is now one of my favourite Alpha Male. He is a loner who has his routine with his dear friends and nothing prepared him for "the Tramontana" that is Georgie. Luca is a tortured soul and it's his personality that makes him so endearing , so captivating, so Freaking HOT!

"And her smile—being on the receiving end of one of Georgie’s smiles was like feeling the summer sun as it breaks through the clouds."

A Place in the Sun is so romantic that you need to be prepared to have your heart taken away by Georgie and Gianluca!
Five fabulous stellas!

Beautiful read

A Place in the sun is a heartwarming read filled with little moments of humour and romantic moments with great characters, ideal for those afternoons or evenings where you just want to get swept away in someone else's world and Gianluca and Georgie's world was a beautiful one. .

Georgia decided after to many set ups and dates by her overbearing mother that enough was enough she wanted to find her own love, Georgie was an admirer of love she had witnessed in other relationships and with that sense of longing she took herself on a journey and with a flick of the globe and the pin point of her finger she was off to Italy from England.

Gianluca or Luca was a man who had loved and lost and had no intentions of loving again, he was stubborn and broody and very much a man who liked his own company since the death of his young wife.

Georgia breezed into the little village like a storm and bit by bit their relationship evolved.

Luca:
She was an agonising sort of beautiful, the kind that reached out and demanded everyone take notice. When she smiled, the world smiled with her, and more than once, I found myself wishing I was the man she deserved to be with, the one she had come to Italy to find.

As Georgia and Gianluca got closer and began their project of fixing up a B& B their relationship blossomed and it was hot at times but it took time and Gianluca needed to let go of his wife Allie.

Luca:
To be in love with someone is to live inside them. Allies breaths were my own and when she drew her last one, I was the one left gulping for air. I hadn't breathed deeply in five years.

A recommended read that will make you laugh swoon and finish with a sigh.

I've finished!! Nooooooo!!! Take me back to Vernazza!

RS Grey has written with emotion and such description that I felt I was there and I felt like I was a character in the story.

We met Georgie in Settling the Score and I immediately loved her. She's the best friend you want, the life and soul of the party, the eternal sunshine child with her positivity and charm.

This time, years have passed and she's at the end of her tether with her mother's incessant failed matchmaking attempts and skips out on London for the sun, sea and hunks of Italy.

Naturally, the "hunk" is a brooding, silent male that has a ton of baggage and has no interest in love or relationships.

What a great recipe for happily ever after.

But, this is Georgie we're dealing with. I love her tenacity, I love her attitude, I love her strength.

RS Grey has written another masterpiece. Such likeable characters - eventually with Gianluca's case. I adore how she writes with humility, with passion and with conviction. The setting could not have been more ideal for Georgie's circumstances and the storyline fit her perfectly.

When can we all go and stay at Il Mare?

Bellisimo!

I really enjoyed this book it's fun it has a bit of a Bridget Jones feel to it.
Georgie decides to shake up her life after one to many disastrous dates set up by her mother, she spins an atlas to decide on her destination. She's funny impulsive and slightly neurotic but she's the type of woman you want to be friends with.
Gianluca is a man who's life has been hold for years after a tragedy. He may be alive but he's not really living he's just does enough to get through each day.
There are lots of fun interactions between them, and the other people in the village. Georgie is one of these people that never give up but what happens when a man happily living in the part meets a woman who's trying to pull him back into the land of the living.
Although there are elements of heartache and sadness in the story you will find yourself smiling a lot.
