Well, explains why it was so cheap I guess.
The book wasn't that good. It never explained anything, and s*** just happened. Honestly, the amazon description is more interesting than the actual book.
But. The art was pretty great. Some of the best art I've seen, even if most of them were sketches. Really gave you a feel for the environment, you really sensed the danger and the dirt and the evil in the photos and subtle growing of the evil taking over the house.
I wouldn't suggest you pick it up, sadly. Get it for free from a library if you're able but otherwise don't bother.
The art is perfect, you can feel the story through the drawings even without the text, all of the 4 artist that work on this piece gave their best. Also i liked that the story is drawn in black & white (and gray).
Well the deduction of one star is because of the story. It all starts great, showing the state, habits and characters of the people living in the four apartments, and than it slowly starts to build up the tension, and than the madness comes. I can say that the plot is kind of clishe, but still it worked good. What i didnt like is that at the end nothing gets explain, you are still not clear why what happened, what or who was the evil, why all the evil signs on the wall mean... So that's why im giving this story 4 stars.
Overall i enjoyed reading it, and i do recommend this comic (btw it took me around 1 hour to read it)
Ps: creators bio is much more entertaining than the main book :(
