Poor Tam has been separated from the love of her life. Ex-Zombie Freddie apparently deserted her for no good reason. Tam is ready to give up on him but Guardian Angel, Thomas has other ideas. He also has ideas about the beautiful and enigmatic Katrina. Ideas that would make most of us mere mortals blush. This is the beautifully crafted sequel to The Sexy & the Undead (part 2 of the Sexy Witches series.). This book helps to cement Ms Parkerson's reputation as one of the finest independent authors around.

There is something in the way that Charity writes that engages you from the very first sentence. No need to hang around for the old 'suspension of disbelief' to take hold. You immediately know that the other worldly characters that inhabit the books of this series are totally real. What makes them so appealing is that despite their magical or enchanted appearance and abilities, they share our human flaws and emotional frailties. This makes them totally relatable and therefore utterly believable.

The `through the barricades' love story of Tam and Freddie is equally believable. It is very well told and its ultimate resolution is both engaging and satisfying. Although it may difficult to imagine that Angels really have ANY problems, Thomas' plight is well described and dealt with a tenderness that betrays the author's compassion and sensitivity. The final conclusion of Thomas' story is a real gift to those of us who love `twists'.

Once again Charity manages the erotic elements that are integral to her writing with style and grace. It always compliments the tale and is never at the expense of the story telling.

"The Pixie and the Prince" is the second book in Charity Parkerson's "Sexy Witches" series. The focus of this story mainly shifts to the relationship between pixie Tam and zombie Freddie. Even though I'm usually not a big fan of supernatural romance, I really enjoy Charity Parkerson's stories: her characters, no matter who they are, are entertaining, engaging, and realistic; her plots are filled with surprises and unexpected twists; and her sense of humor surfaces through the voices of her characters, especially Tam in this particular book.

The relationship between Thomas and Katrina, while not central to the story, is integrated well with Tam and Freddie's story, and Thomas presents a nice contrast to Tam - serious vs. funny.

Tam has her opinions about everything and is not shy to express them, such as "babies are very wet" or "Thomas isn't a person; he's even better." Under what circumstances were those lines spoken? Very unusual ones, but you'll have to find out for yourself.

I loved all the Mirror lands adventures, too. A wonderful story!

In book two of the "Sexy Witches" , the story continues with Freddie and Tam as the main characters this time around. Now that Freddie's curse has been lifted, a secret separates the new couple, and Freddie returns to the mirror lands.
Tam's guardian angel, Thomas, makes a wish that sends Tam--willing or not--to Freddie's side. Both Thomas and Tam are forced to face their problems in this part of the series and as usual, they end up in a crazy mess.
When Tam is involved things are always funny, but this book was a bit more serious than the last. Great read. I'm off to get the next one.

This is author Charity Parkerson's second book in the "Sexy Witches" series, following "The Sexy and the Undead."
"The Pixie & The Prince" is a well written story that deftly mixes fantasy with erotica and romance. Parkerson's prose is taut and precise. It's a very readable book, the kind of story you can get easily lost in. Her characters feel like real people and fully dimensional. I especially liked Tam and Freddie. There's something here for everyone but fans of smart erotica and romance will especially love this imaginative tale.

I so like Tam. She is a feisty little fairy with a big secret hidden from her. This book was a follow on from a previous book and just as enjoyable. I would definitely read more books involving Tam and the guardian angels as it is mostly well written although there are a few mistakes not picked up by editing.
