About the Author
New York Times bestselling author Kinley MacGregor lives a life of extraordinary danger...as does any woman with three sons, a husband, a menagerie of pets, and a collection of swords that all of the above have a major fixation with. But when not running interference (or dashing off to the emergency room), she can be found chained to her computer where she likes to play with all her imaginary friends. With more than ten million copies of her books in print, in 26 countries, she certainly has a lot of friends to play with, too.
Writing as Kinley MacGregor and Sherrilyn Kenyon, she is the author of several series including: The Dark-Hunters, Brotherhood of the Sword, Lords of Avalon, and BAD. With an international, cult following, her books have appeared in the top three on the New York Times, Publishers Weekly, and USA Today bestseller lists.

It's the story of Serenity, a woman who longs to be a journalist but who is shackled by society and expectations. She writes a story about a man who is attacking British ships carrying American soldiers and setting them free. His name is Morgan Drake, but Serenity doesn't know his true identity, she knows him only as the Sea Wolf.
The article however reaches the ears of Morgan and he is less than pleased that his identity is at stake. He decides to track down this journalist and make them stop by whatever means necessary.
What ensues is a wonderfully funny and romantic tale as the two find out that neither is what they expected. This is the first book I have read by Kinley and I am definately going to read her other books.
She has managed to captivate my heart with this tale. Serenity is delightfully annoying to Morgan, while at the same time driving him insane with desire for her. You can practically feel the sexual tension pulsing up from the pages.
I fully recommend this title to any romance fan, and hope you find as much joy and pleasure from this book as I have.

This was an okay story get a bit tired of overly domineering men and women who give in too easily. Not bad though.Published 17 months ago by marnie
Ok, quite enjoyable, quirky heroine and adequate hero, bit of humour. Just did not wow me really. It whiled away a few hours pleasantly though.Published on 12 Nov. 2013 by maggie
I found Serenity and Morgan to be one dimensional at best. The plot simply didn't flow and there was a conspicuous lack of sexual tension between the couple. Read morePublished on 6 Jun. 2004
