A big high point of this book is that Dalton went along on the Festival Express...the week long excursion thru Canada...so there are lots of juicy tidbits about various celebrities, including the Grateful Dead.
During a recent hurricane that hit the city I live in, I lost all power (and water, since I live in the country, and have a 500 foot well)...and I re-read this by candlelight. It is just one of those books that you can read over and over and it never loses its flavor.
By the way, where the heck IS David Dalton now? I've done dozens of Google searches, and cannot find him. If anyone knows where he is (or even if he is still alive) please post it here....thank you!
