HASH(0x8e912960) out of 5 stars In need of new edition 17 May 1996
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
This text has been considered the bible of radiation therapy.
It is in need of updating to current therapy modalities.
Some of the problem answers are incorrect.

HASH(0x8ec1566c) out of 5 stars good book 16 Nov. 2004
By SHERRY LEUNG - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
It's quite clear most of the time. It has basic physics in it so you'd never need to refer to another textbook for simple things that you've forgotten. I wish it was a little more updated though. It's limited in it's coverage of things like neutron therapy. But this book is so good, you could use it as a self study guide, almost.

HASH(0x8ead039c) out of 5 stars Practial text to have 12 May 2007
By Health Physics Student - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
Physics of Radiology isn't as complete a text as Martin's, it seems more like a handbook than a physics text, but it is definitely useful and is full of examples that I can't find in other books. It's a little difficult to read straight through because of the visual format (it looks like it was written on a typewriter), but the examples are great references. I would have liked it if the authors used units more often, so that I could more easily adapt the examples but in all, it was a good investment.
HASH(0x8e94f438) out of 5 stars Classic and Bible 2 Sept. 2013
By Eunsin Lee - Published on Amazon.com

This is a must have for medical physicist. Bit of out of date, but basic physics is well written.
Indispensable compensate and counterbalancing for Khan's weakness (fundamental physics principle on radiation physics).
HASH(0x8e4ebab0) out of 5 stars A must own book for Medical Physicist 6 May 2015
By Jonathan Monson - Published on Amazon.com

This book is well written. I great reference for those learning to be Medical Physicist. I love the problems in the back to help you get familiarized with the concepts.
