Waste of money for the price. People looking to overcome fears would do better to buy a book on NLP and Anxiety. This book is very thin and with very little text per page at that. There's no substantial background to the theories suggested and there's nothing in here that couldn't find for free on a website with a quick search.

It's little more than a pamplet and an entirely inadequate response to a very real problem affecting many people in the modern age.

HASH(0x92c97bf4) out of 5 stars These techniques are proven & effective. 17 Sept. 2012
By Bernadette - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
As a parent of a child who suffered with a mild stammer most of his life, the title of this book intrigued me, as I was fairly conversant with NLP techniques. I had in the past purchased a DVD online that certainly helped my son, and the techniques taught were remarkably similar to what is proposed in this ebook.

However the DVD course was 10 x the price, and not as ailment specific as this book is. I have no doubt these instructions would hep any person that has problems controlling a stammer on the phone. The book is logically laid out, easy to navigate and easily read & comprehended.

HASH(0x911a36f0) out of 5 stars A JOURNEY FROM PHONE FEAR TO PHONE CONFIDENCE 20 Sept. 2012
By APURVA PATEL - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Speaking to someone over the telephone is a small task for the majority of the world but for some it can feel like a talking to an audience. This ebook written by Dr Hiten Vyas has shown the flexibility of NLP techniques in helping a person who stammers to speak over the telephone. There are examples in the ebook which simplify the concepts Dr Hiten Vyas teaches, along with exercises to enhance the understanding of the NLP techniques. This is an invaluable resource for people who stammer in turning phone fear into phone confidence.
HASH(0x92a3ad98) out of 5 stars EXCELLENT GUIDE TO IMPROVE PHONE CONFIDENCE!!! 20 Sept. 2012
By Reba Ponder Weiss - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Dealing with telephone communication in my career, anytime you can get a good guide to increase confidence, it helps. Hiten's book: Telephone Confidence is a logical, step-by-step progression for anyone wanting to improve their telephone skills. I can tell that Hiten understands the thinking process of a person who stammers and deals with it on a personal level. This is a must read for anyone who makes cold calls, warm calls, or just talks to people on a day to day basis in both person and professional settings.
