Format: Kindle Edition
In the second volume of Richard's trilogy we see his vision of a post-apocalypse Britain. The re-habilitation of a devastated nation by the survivors is realistic and well-reasoned. We see the abandonment of democracy in favour of demarchy and the mystery surrounding The Warden deepens. The Health Service and Education also get the Turner Treatment. This book lacks the drama and tension of the first but it is a good continuation of the storyline. And over the border Anglia is rising.
