Like all of Philip's Navigator maps, this is excellent - large scale, very clear and with good indicators for points of interest. Gave us a very clear route (when sat nav would have taken us down a dangerous road with a landslip) round the Black Isle and comfortable size to keep on lap! Very good value, even if you have their UK map.

Probable the best and easiest to read road maps available and all the better for being spiral backed which makes it easier to use in a confined space, i.e on your lap with a steering wheel in fron...............obviously not when driving. If I have one gripe to make and that is that when changing from one page to a continuation page to follow a road, there is very little if any overlap from the previous page which is ok if you know the area but if not and you need to keep having to refer to the previous page to get your bearings there is barely any overlap, if any at all, oherwise it'd get the 5 star treatment as far as I am concerned.

Perfect for cycling. Bung it in the pannier and whip it out where necessary. Or rip out the pages that you need and shove it in a map holder. I bought two so I can have one in the car and one for the bike.

1st class, very handy size and easy to use. Have used Philips Navigator for many years and keep up to date with a new issue about every 4 years. I think it would be very expensive to upgrade the paper to make it so that the spiral one does not tear so easy.(Miner fault). I use them constantly ( I have 5 ) Three covering my Yorkshire region, one Scotland and one G.B. More reliable than G.P.S. satellite devices. Highly recommend to anyone who uses an atlas, detail is superb.

We wanted this in addition to the Collins Touring Map to plan a tour of Scotland in a motorhome. This atlas is neatly bound in a handy size for keeping in the door pocket and not too big for looking at in the confines of a car. The drawback is that each page does not cover a huge area, but does give a huge amount of detail. This is not a problem given that most people will only buy it for exploring specific areas and not as a tool for route planning. We have not used it in anger yet, but we are very pleased with what we have seen of it so far and look forward to using it for finding out more about Scotland during our upcoming tour.

I was disappointed with this item, I wanted a much more detailed map which is what I thought I was getting. I am a lorry driver, and go to some very remote places and this map is not sufficient for that, but for tourist it is very clear.

Great book, loads of info and details if travelling around Scotland. The spiral bounding makes it easy to lay flat and plan your routes along clear road information. Bit big if travelling by bike, but ideal size to plan routes beforehand.

Even after we have informed you, that this item is NOT entirely as described, you are STILL advertising it incorrectly. It is only about 33% at 1.5 miles to the inch, the remaining 66% of the atlas is in fact at 3 miles to the inch. That means it is only one third as described .There is nothing wrong with the atlas itself, but it could be said to contravene the Trades Description act. We have informed you of this fact & have had very unsatisfactory replies & no change has been made to an INCORRECT description. We are NOT inpressed.
