These are absolutely stunning. I love the gradient look and really making use of the Hue scenes that blend much more seamlessly within a space, especially if using in conjunction with other Hue products.
As soon as I tested them and plugged them in, I felt immediately flourished with ideas on where to place them for a sleek or interesting look. Fitting them behind my beds headboard, or fitting them ontop of a wide mirror hung high on the wall or underneath and around cabinets etc, so many possible options to really transform a room or bring to life areas that are otherwise typically uninteresting or bland.
One point to note is that you do have to think about where or how you would bend them around a corner or edge as they are brittle and require careful thought on how to approach this and may limit execution on some of your ideas.
I was lucky enough to get these on Prime Day at a price I could swallow. As much as I love the product, it's just not something I could have justified at the usual price point, even though I am utterly in love with them.
If only Philips would price their products more appropriately, given there are ever growing and improving competitors in this market. Maybe one day..
