Bio: Phil Richardson is a retired and lives in Athens, Ohio where he writes fiction and memoirs. His wife, whom he met in a creative writing class at Ohio University, is a poet and a mystery writer. They enjoy sharing the writing experience and belong to the same writing group.
Phil served four years in the US Navy and truly got to see the world He participated in Operation Deepfreeze, Admiral Byrd's last expedition to the Antarctic. His ship, a gasoline tanker, was crushed in the ice and had to be rescued by ice breakers. All writers need experiences like this, don't they?
Two of Phil's stories were nominated for the Pushcart Prize in Fiction and he has won or placed in several writing contests.
His publications include over seventy stories in on-line publications and in print including 21 anthologies.
