This is apparently a must read for the primary, so I'm dutifully battling with it at the moment. I'm only partway through, but it's very hard going. It's poorly written with no obvious meaningful structuring of chapters, and I've already discovered one totally incorrect paragraph which really isn't good enough when this is a core text for the primary FRCA and is read by all novice anaesthetists. I'm now actively looking for a better pharmacology textbook.

Absolutely classic.
Well laid out and easy to navigate - a huge bonus for kindle books.
The book has been meticulously updated to include new and relevant topics, the chapter on TIVA, now an exam favourite has also been updated.
This book compliments the sasada drug book.

It's a good book overall for exam preparation. It lacks a bit of detail on specific drugs but has good sections on general pharmacological principles and is certainly geared towards the FRCA Primary. I can't find a better text for this topic.
