I would have given this 5 stars if not for the installation instructions being vague and the nightmare I had trying to get it to seat right on my board as the pins just wouldn't line up until I removed one of the straps and put it in a different hole to what it should had been. Great product though, cools better than any other air heatsink outthere and the colour options are great for enthusiasts looking to colour code the insides of their PC and the build quality is fantastic,

Very well made cooler and would recommend to anyone after a heavy duty silent system.

Easy to install, fits my cooler master sniper case and keeps my i5 nice and cool even @ 4.5ghz!!!

Brilliant.

You know that elongated whistle that you do when looking up at a large structure from the bottom.
Yeah, that's pretty much what you do when you open the box and find out how large this is.
That being said, my processor runs at around 30C when heavily stressed.

I have had only had it for a couple of weeks, but this cooler appears to have immense O/C potential. Thus far my CPU (i5 4670K @ 3.8GHz) has not exceeded ~40 degrees C under heavy (albeit sporadic) load. Fans are also quieter than I'd expected.

Also - for those interested, this cooler is compatible with the Haswell LGA 1150 socket (although I believe it pre-dates Haswell so the box does not mention this - at least mine didn't).

Running an Intel i5 4670k @ 4.2 GHz under this tower. No problems so far. 4.3 GHz had some high temps issues and 4.4 GHz was overheating a lot during the summer. I can't remember temps now but I think when I was overclocking i just concluded it was my chips fault as it couldn't be pushed very far.

Overall awesome performance cooler!

If your after one of the best air coolers around, if not the best then look no further than this Phanteks cooler. It works great in a push/pull setup and gives really low temps, ive not gone over 51 degrees whilst gaming or doing intensive video apps, it idles at around 32 degrees which is excellent. Not only is it a great cooler but it also looks great as well.
