I was born in 1937 in Staffordshire, but owing to my father's job, we moved around the country. I pursued a career as a Dental Surgeon, the first 20 years in Kent and the final 20 years in Hampshire. This left little time for writing and it was not until I took a slightly early retirement, that I had the time and opportunity to write. Over the last 12 years my wife and I have lived in Cornwall and I have written, in longhand, the full nine novels in the Treveague Family Saga. Set in 18th century Cornwall, the first, The Silent Bell and the second, A Cry from Within, are both available from the Kindle Store, the rest will follow. I have also written a two part novel about the devastating effects on the life of a couple when one becomes a victim in the 7/7 bombings and how her subsequent injuries affect the life and relationship of the couple and how the struggle for normality works out. This too, is in longhand and will be typed up and uploaded eventually.
My other interests include wood carving and wood sculpture, reading and walking in the picturesque east Roseland area of Cornwall where we live, which is the setting for the Treaveague Saga.
