Pete May's most recent books are Man About Tarn, Goodbye To Boleyn, Whovian Dad and The Joy of Essex. His other books include, There's A Hippo In My Cistern, Rent Boy, Hammers in the Heart and West Ham: Irons in the Soul. As a journalist he has written for the Guardian, Observer, Independent, Time Out, New Statesman, Loaded, Midweek and numerous other publications. He is an associate lecturer in Sports Journalism at the London College of Communication. Once an Essex Man, he now lives in London with his wife, two daughters, a dog named Vulcan, two chickens and a large collection of West Ham programmes and Doctor Who dvds.
