The Book is comprehensive of most areas but there is no glossary of terms for some of the more specialist words, so you will need a good knowledge of fish keeping in general to use this book.
The chapter on filtration is quite good but the chapter on "the planted discus tank" lacks suggested layout and many other key areas.
This is a book you will need to read its not designed in anyway to aid quick reference.
If you are new to Discus then this is a good basic text but if you have done a little reading before and understand water quality issues for Amazon species then get a bigger and more in-depth publication.
A very easy to read and understand beginners guide for discus keeping.
fish to keep so I bought a book on keeping these type of fish before hand

Rubbish, full of padding and silly stuff like 'how to plant a plant' with a diagram of someone poking their finger in some dirt. No really useful stuff.Published 14 months ago by Ihate-the min-word-count
