It's best used as a reference book (although it's worth reading the opening few chapters)so that you consult it as a business issue arises. The book manages to bring together a huge amount of disparate advice making it an invaluable resource - much easier to use than the online resource on which it's based.
Should be on the bookshelf of all serious businesspeople. Not too American - everything he says about the problems with the business education over there applies just as much over here - and the vast majority of the content applies to most businesses.
