As a collector of all things Persona I'm pretty happy with it, the box is nice and it looks great on my shelf. However it doesn't come with much. just the film on both DVD and blu-ray and an art book with a little interview with some of the people who worked on the film. Compared to the Japanese and American versions which came with all sorts of little do-hickeys it's a little bare bones, especially for the price. A soundtrack CD would've been nice, since there are some new remixes of songs from the game in the film.
The film itself is good, while I probably prefer the Persona 4 anime series because of its more lighthearted tone and episodic nature being more easily digestible (also because I prefer that game anyway) this series of films is way more impressive on a technical level. You can tell they put a lot of money into it and it shows, especially on the blu-ray. It's really nice to look at, and it brings a lot of characters and locations from the game to life. If you're not a fan of the game though you might feel a little lost at times and some things might seem a little weird without prior context (stuff involving the dungeons and battles, mainly) but it's not too hard to pick up. Also worth noting is that there is no English dub, Japanese audio only, which is kind of a shame because the game had a good dub and having dual audio would give this package some more value.
If you're a fan of Persona and you're willing to part with some money (and if you're a Persona fan who lives in the UK, you probably should be by now) and you don't mind Japanese audio, you'll be pretty satisfied, otherwise maybe consider alternative means, like playing the game (if you have a PS3 or PSP/Vita, you can download it, it's not too expensive).
To anyone else curious about the film sorry I haven't watched or even got a copy but knowing the game I am sure you will find it completely fantastic and absorbing
SADLY I wil never get to experiance that enjoyment....
